Job Description

• The candidate must be able to operate cleaning machines.
• The candidate will be responsible for vacuuming floors.
• The candidate will be responsible for waxing and polishing floors.
• The candidate must clean and sanitize items such as dishwasher mats, carts, and waste disposal units.
• The candidate must clean and sanitize the kitchen, including work surfaces, cabinets, storage areas, appliances, and equipment.
• The candidate will be responsible for cleaning the kitchen and work areas.
• The candidate will be responsible for cleaning, disinfecting, and polishing kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances.

Job Requirements

• The candidate should be fluent in English language.
• There are no standard education requirements such as a bachelor’s degree, a certificate, or a diploma.
• The ideal candidate will have at least 1 to 2 years of experience in a related industry.
• The candidate must have a Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate.
• The candidate should be dependable.
• The candidate must be flexible.
• The candidate should be reliable.

Experience and specialization

Equipment and machinery experience

• The candidate must have experience using chemical cleaning equipment, industrial vacuum cleaners/power sweepers, waxing machines, grills, deep fryers, and conventional ovens.

Cleaning experience

• The candidate must have experience cleaning industrial equipment, ventilation systems/ducts, and boilers/tanks.

Area of specialization

• The candidate must be skilled in cleaning kitchen areas.

• The candidate should have an eye for details.
• The candidate must be willing to work in a standing position for extended periods of time.
• The candidate must be willing to work long hours in bending, crouching, and kneeling positions.
• The candidate should be prepared to perform physically demanding tasks as part of their daily work.
• The candidate should be required to perform repetitive tasks on frequent basis.
